I (Heart) Spray Paint

So what do you think about a diy project that would take about 5 minutes of your time and cost less than 10 bucks?

Now that’s a busy mom’s kind of project!!

And yes, as you guessed, it involves spray paint. I am in love with the Rustoleum Hammered Metal spray paint. You cannot go wrong with this stuff. It’s the same spray paint I used on my indoor outdoor stool makeover, just a different color this time.

I found this plant stand at a garage sale for $10 $5. Remember prices are always negotiable! Here is the before picture…

Plant stand before

Just a little too “Ninety’s” shiny for my taste.

It took me about 3 minutes to cover (I only needed one coat) and another 5 minutes to dry to the point of handling. I would wait a full 24 hours before using it.

And here is the after….

Painted plant stand

Seriously, little things make such a difference!!

Finished Plant Stand

I just love succulents, and love the combination with a Rubber Plant to fill in some empty space on my patio. Check out another one of my “spray paint projects” here.

Do you have any quick and easy projects to share? I would love to hear about them and would love to hear your comments about my projects here on the blog. If you like what you see so far, consider following me with one of the links you see at the end of this post. Hope you have a fabulous day!!
