DIY Summer Coasters–Giveaway

I am in need of some fun, summertime coasters. I found some plain cork coasters at the dollar store, and am now on a mission to make them FABULOUS…

But, I need your help!

Check out these great ideas below, choose your favorite, cast your vote and enter the drawing as many times as you like. I will send one lucky winner a matching set…and will make the coasters that get the most votes :-). Come back daily for extra chances to win.

Here are the coasters that are in the running:

1. Pottery Barn has these super cool leather coasters for sale, $29 for set of 6. I think I could make these by staining the cork and stitching around the edges with thread. I think these coasters are versatile and timeless.

2. Head on over to Honey Bee Vintage to see a tutorial on these cute numbered coasters! Melissa did a great job on these!!

3. Susannah over at SusannahBean made these coasters using fabric, lace and modge podge.I love the plain fabric ones and the possibilities are endless.

4. Next up are these Map Coasters from The Country Chic Cottage. I am so in love with these, but obviously mine would be round! I think I would use a neutral colored map with a Gray palette.

5. I also think these coasters are cute {{Source unknown}}. I would do a chevron fabric with a mustache on all 4.

6. I fell in love with these Nautical Coasters from Celebrations.com…they would go great in my family room, or next to my driftwood candle holder. I would use Jute and a glue gun to get this look.

7. These last Paint Swatch Coasters by 645 Workshop are not in the running, because I think they need to be square. But they are too cute not to include in this post!! Definitely on my list for a future project or a great gift for a friend that loves to DIY.

  1. Scroll down to the Rafflecopter box below my signature. Click on each drop down arrow to bring up options for entering the giveaway. The first option is where you type in your vote, after that it gives you other options for additional entries if you would like, for example following on twitter, facebook etc. If you already follow you can just click to enter. If you are not following, follow the link in the box and then come back here to click your entry. Make sense? If not, let me know and thanks for stopping by. Good luck!!

    • You do have to log in to register with your Facebook name or email. Also you can come back and tweet about the giveaway each day for an additional entry. I think this (rafflecopter) works better from a computer rather than a mobile device, not sure others opinions on that.
